There isn’t really a lot to our story. We’re a group of guys who thought it would be a fun to be able to buy a city, but none of us could come up with enough money to buy one (given the decline in tax revenue from falling home prices you’d think cities would be auctioning themselves off on eBay right now…hrmm).

In reality Cityocracy started out as a fun side project, but then the more we fleshed it out the more “real world” uses we came up with.   That just means that there is more great stuff in store for all of you who take the plunge and join our community.

We intentionally wanted to keep the price of the cities very low so that anyone could afford to own one or two.  Seriously, $5 will barely buy you a small latte these days.  Crazy!

The bottom line is this — we hope you enjoy Cityocracy, but we know we’re missing a lot of great stuff that would make it that much better.  That’s where you come in.  Please email your suggestions, comments, bugs, and whatever else to greg@cityocracy.com.  You can also leave a comment here if you like.
